This film was conceptualized and created as part of the annual IB 48H film competition. The film depicts the story of two young girls(Julie and Cassie) from different social-economic classes who reside in school for separate reasons. Julie and Cassie eventually find each other during their midnight adventures, transcend class boundaries, and become friends.

The featured film Afterschool Hours is awarded for 4 out of the 8 awards available: Best Directing, Best Editing, Best Screenplay, and overall Best Film.

‘Clash of the Titans’ is an event where 10 of the most globally renowned international schools with strong film programs compete across international borders. Following specific guidelines(eg. Location, prop, genre), IBDP film students are given the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in filmmaking for 48 hours. This year, 20 CIS film students participated in the challenge, using actors from the school's Theatre program.
